Sleep or "to-do" list

Finally I have a little time to myself to craft, wrap, prepare or play however I want and all I seem to want to do is go to bed. This does not bode well for the mountain of cards I still have to make this holiday season.

I am blog hopping like mad hoping to find some inspiration to do something, somewhere. Tim Holtz - http://www.timholtz.typepad.com/ -has a few nice tags, but way too much work for me, Melanie Louette - http://melanie-notesfromhome.blogspot.com/ -has great pages, but I can't just COPY her brilliance..(can I?)..Kristine - http://kristineskort.blogspot.com/ - is so ahead of the game I am way too intimidated to attempt her level.

I am pretty tempted to watch Christmas tv and eat a little chocolate...

We shall see....

Getting my groove back...

Had fun this weekend, FINALLY getting some pages done...
Many thanks to Ann for her thoughtfullness and inspiration. I was able to get 5 little projects completed in just under 10 hours... please bear in mind that this includes lunch and dinner breaks and trip to Ann's LSS!

The smaller picture is the inspiration for my picture - artist unknown.

This is a little recylced packaging I used to make a door hanging for Hannah.

Later I will add the 5th page, it needs a little editing...

And They're Off!

Hannah and her buddies headed back to school today!

We said goodbye to daddy, ate "egg-in-the-hole" and waitied for the bus with her future husband, Brandon. (Long story, I am hoping they grow out of it).

Brandon and Hannah both wore a red ribbon so that the teachers know which class they are going to be in! But we already know that we are having the fabulous madam Helene again this year! I was not sad to see her go, I was proud that she was ready and fearless! if she comes home in tears tonight, I will rethink my position, but for now I am content that she was prepared and happy to be a "Grade-One-er".

I have spent the day painting our livingroom, FINALLY, after 7 years in the house we have colour on the main floor. Ok, beige is BARELY a colour, but we are happy for now.

A Celebration of Six.

Same picture, two sized layouts, 12x12 and 8x8; one pack of rub-ons. I have been in a slump as you all know, so imagine the thrill of finding out my pictures were in as I headed off to a crop night!

It Seems to Have Been a While...

The after effects of all this rain!

Hannah with her gerbera plant and a ladybug!

Lately, although I have taken lots of pictures, I really have not been particularly inspired to scrapbook them, so here are a few of the latest shots, which will make it to albums eventually I am sure!

A Little too cold to jump right in...
